My first interaction with Elena I was far into my pregnancy, sick as a dog, and I cried as I tried to tell her all the things I was trying to do to get well. She was so kind and let me cry and encouraged me and gave me suggestions to kick the sickness before it was time for delivery. Then several weeks later, the night I went to labor when I found out Elena was on call, I was SO excited. She was an amazing support during my delivery and I can’t imagine anyone else helping me bring my precious son into the world.
